Navel loves.

so if you read my last post, I'll be talking about my navel piercing today! /throws confetti/ hehehe. Just some pics of it...

-don't look at the fats-

yep it was much love!!! So I'm gna share my experience if you're interested in getting a navel piercing......

-READ CARE INFORMATION BEFORE GETTING YOUR PIERCING DONE. (Which includes finding a professional shop with professional piercers duh.)

I've got mine done at the market around Woodlands train checkpoint! There isn't a specific shop name but yup, it's kinda well known and all of my friends have been asking me to pierce there. So if you go to the market and ask for directions, people will tell you(ask those youngsters they might know the shop more)

Took 161 from cp(compass point) with my friend, yep and stopped at woodlands interchange. Changed to 865 there for approximately 6 stops, done! As  me and my friend weren't familiar with woodlands, we took the long route and asked along the way(which was kinda stupid) And frankly speaking, people there are not very friendly so I suggest you guys just find the way yourselves. We kinda met the needles(碰钉子) or what do you say it so we decided to find it out ourselves!

Some pics otw to woodlands .

cute bo. HAHAHAHA JK.

failed wink oh my god

Uh huh we finally reached the shop after walking and walking. Wasn't really thinking along the way as I was scared about the piercing. Found our way to the shop, the female shopkeeper wasn't very friendly(or it's just cause of my fear) hahaha but she wasn't the one piercing for me!! Contemplated and 'whined' outside the shop for almost 5mins and I finally went in to choose the stud. I got the navy-blue-black-purple-galaxy colour!! The pink stud there wasn't very nice sigh. Some kind of dirty pink? So I didn't take it. But the total cost would be $20 with stud!! ($68 for the Bugis one, with stud too)

The woman ushered me and my friend and I was already freaking out but she said 'haven't pierce la!!' Oops. SCARED MA CANNOT MEH. Okay so around 2 mins later a middle-aged guy came in and asked who wanted to pierce. I've actually thought of just running out of the shop hahaha. Yeah and after all the cleaning and sanitizing & stuff, he asked me to stand up with my friend holding my shoulders in case I got giddy(a normal symptom). He started wiping the navel part and I was already literally screaming but he haven't pierce(and was laughing at me) ;______; but honestly speaking the guy is really nice! I was kpo and wanted to look but he asked me to look upwards instead hahaha. The process went on around 2 mins? 2lightyears for me cause I didn't know when will this whole thing be coming to an end. He used the clamp to secure the piercing position and I initially thought he was already piercing but I was wrong. Pain level for clamping(2/10) and out of a sudden something just went through and I couldn't believe it la. (5/10) for pain level I guess but still can be tolerated. Ah he was comforting me for the whole time cause I was just giving the constipated face as if I was giving birth hahahahaha oh my god. Yup and after that it was all done! That guy used the cotton wool to wrap around my piercing to prevent infection or something so I couldn't see it(just like not seeing the baby after giving birth) and yeah, I was told to sit down for 10 mins, in case I felt giddy but I didn't :-)  it looks like this after you get pierced!

During the 10 mins, 2 people actually came in to pierce both the lip and tongue. I saw the process for the lip one but my reaction was bigger than the girl getting pierced. Call me a coward hahahaha I couldn't help it!! Tongue one I didn't wanna see so I went off with my friend.

Walked for around 20 mins looking for a bus stop and we met the guy that went to pierce his tongue and he looked perfectly normal without pain or anything.

Back to cwp before going home!

And my ootd.

Headed back to cp taking 161 and talked with my friend along the way. Surprisingly the wound didn't hurt at all! Was very worried about the shower part(bugged me for the whole day) but it didn't hurt too. Wow. So you guys don't have to buy any plasters like I did, and wasted $6.80 TT hahaha that would be all, for interested girls that wanna pierce or something you can ask your friends too, most people know about that shop.

That would be all I guesssss. Stay tuned for more updates and don't forget to follow me!

  1. Hi. Not sure if you'll reply but I'll try. I chanced upon your blogpost while researching on where to get my navel piercing. Thanks for the information. Pain level and price wise. I would like to know the location/probably some directions or shop name if possible for me to pay a visit. Did you develop any complications after? Like infection or something? I'll appreciate so much if you reply.
